typetechnique is a well-established London-based digital origination studio incorporating a design, repro, print
and bureau house. We offer a full typographic, design, print and production service, from the creation of
original corporate identities to the production of a full range of branded material.

typetechnique was founded in 1993. The thirty years combined experience of the founders, Michael Cushing
and Kevin Dodd, in graphic design, typesetting, print and production meant that typetechnique rapidly
established a reputation for reliability and excellence – its first clients included Balafon Books,
Quarto Publishing and Consortium Communications.

As a result of its continuous expansion, typetechnique transferred its headquarters from North London to the
West End in 1994. The typetechnique team has grown to include highly skilled experts in new media
development and design to complement the traditional print and production services, but Michael and Kevin
have remained hands-on managers.

Our West End premises have recently expanded even further to accommodate new staff and new clients.
